Eva says her husband was responsible for her new short haircut
Eva Longoria says her husband was responsible for her new short haircut. The 'Desperate Housewives' actress - who plays Gabrielle Solis on the hit US TV show - was required to cut her locks for the role, and says her basketball star husband Tony Parker was thrilled with the news.
She said: "Tony cut my hair. Well, my hairdresser Ken Paves fixed it. Tony has been wanting me to cut my hair. Ken came over and set it up for Tony and said, 'You do the first cut. 'So Tony cut about half of it and then Ken fixed it."
Eva, 33, also revealed she is thrilled her character is turning into a housewife, as the new season of the show flashes to five years in the future, because it meant she could have a break from her strict diet and exercise regime.
She added to America's OK! magazine: "I love it. I come into hair and make up now and it's ten minutes instead of two hours. It's way more fun to play frumpy. Then you can focus on story and character as opposed to having to always look great. I feel like she's dealing with a lot of real issues."
