Mel B's 'nutty' exercise
Former Spice Girls singer Mel B admits her strict exercise regime is crazy, but insists she loves the way strenuous work-outs make her feel.
Mel B says her exercise regime is "nuts".
The former Spice Girls singer admits she takes keeping fit to extremes, but insists she loves the feeling she gets from a strenuous work-out.
She said: "I do an hour every other day. What I do depends on where I am - sometimes I do my own fitness DVD with friends and laugh at myself, other times I run for an hour doing sprints and walks. I like to work out with other people, so we might do an army training class or do a hike if I'm in Los Angeles.
"As for the sit-ups, I don't do 600 every day. I do it at the end of my workout. I change position every ten reps, so it goes very quickly. I rest every 200. It is nuts, but I like exercise."
Mel - who is planning to take a course to become a personal trainer - doesn't go to the gym with husband Stephen Belafonte, but revealed they do their own form of exercise together.
She said: "We have a good, healthy sex life, which is important for a relationship. It's not the be all and end all, but it helps!"
