Eva Longoria Parker to host EMAs
Eva Longoria Parker is set to host the MTV European Music Awards (EMAs).
The 'Desperate Housewives' beauty will jet over to the ceremony in Madrid, Spain, next month, where she will handle proceedings as a selection of prizes are handed out to some of the world's biggest music stars.
Eva seemingly can't wait to meet Katy Perry and Lady Gaga, who are both nominated for five awards and will battle it out with each other in the Best Female, Best Pop and Best Song categories.
The 35-year-old actress said: "I'm beyond excited to host the 2010 EMAs. And getting to do it in the beautiful city of Madrid is the icing on the cake. I can't wait to see some fabulous performances and I absolutely love that the most nominated artists this year are two amazing women, who are making some of the most exciting music in pop right now!"
'I Kissed a Girl' singer Katy is set to wow the crowd with a duet with rock band Linkin Park, while Kings of Leon, Kesha and Kid Rock are all set to take to the stage too.
The 17th annual EMAs will take place at the Caja Magica in the Spanish city, and will be broadcast live on MTV channels across the globe.
