Hilary Duff shares family picture

Hilary Duff has shared her first family picture with fans.

The singer-and-actress posted the first picture of herself, husband Mike Comrie and their son Luca Cruz all together since Luca was born on March 20, on micro blogging site twitter.

The casual black and white snap shows the loving family seated together on a couch, with Hilary cradling Luca in her arms.

Hilary has recently revealed she and Mike are relishing their new roles as parents.

She said: "The past couple of weeks have been the most joyful time. Luca makes us smile all day, every day!

"Motherhood can have its difficulties, but luckily, Luca has been a great baby."

However, Hilary admitted it hasn't all been plain sailing as looking after a newborn has ruined her sleeping pattern.

She said: "I'm a bit short on sleep, but he has been the best behaved little boy. We are so fortunate to have a strong, healthy and happy baby."

Hilary has previously revealed she wants to take time out to enjoy her little one before returning to her career.

She said: "I think that after I have the baby I'll want to sit still for a few months and learn how to be a really good mom.

"And then there's no reason why I can't put a record out and tour ... It might take a little while but I'm really excited about it."
