South Korean actress Song Hye-kyo and actor Song Joong-ki officially tied the knot in Seoul on October 31.

And many stars gathered at the wedding ceremony to celebrate this special day. Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi was also present to witness the beautiful moment.

“The Song duo explains the best love for us, and they are at the best stage in their life,” Zhang wrote on her weibo.

The two popular stars who played lovers in the mega-hit TV drama Descendants of the Sun that took Asia by storm last year.

Descendants of the Sun centers on the relationship between a captain of South Korean Special Forces unit, played by Song Joong-ki, and a surgeon, played by Song Hye-kyo.

The 16-episode series was hailed as reviving the so-called hallyu, or Korean Wave, of K-pop and K-dramas that spread across Asia and beyond since the early 2000s.
