China on Friday lodged strong protests to Japan over its latest textbook revision regarding the Diaoyu Islands, according to Chinese Foreign Ministry.

The official in charge of Asian Affairs Department of the Chinese Foreign Ministry summoned the Japanese Minister to China, sources said.
