KMT veteran Lien Chan arrives in Beijing

Kuomintang's honorary chairman Lien Chan waves to
people upon his arrival in Beijing April 13, 2006. Lien will deliver a speech at
a forum on economic and trade affairs between the mainland and Taiwan organized
by the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Chinese Kuomintang (KMT). CPC
General Secretary Hu Jintao will meet him on Sunday. [Xinhua]
