Injured Taiwanese visitors return home

Two Taiwanese tourists who were injured in a traffic accident on Monday in east China's Fujian Province returned to Taiwan Friday morning.

The two old people in their seventies went back home along a special shipping route across the Taiwan Straits, as there is no direct shipping between the mainland and Taiwan.

A 28-member group from Taiwan encountered a traffic accident in the province's county of Nanjing and four were injured.

The four wounded received medical treatment in Zhongshan hospital in the city of Xiamen.

According to sources with the hospital, the other two injured people will return to Taiwan on Saturday.
