Forty companies will offer about 1,600 vacancies for on-the-spot application. Special panels will also be mounted to display some 500 vacancies solicited from other companies.

These companies come from various trades and industries, including catering, retail, property management, real estates, business services, banking, telecommunication, aircraft engineering and beauty services.

The vacancies cover a variety of positions including managerial posts£¬frontline positions, professional/technical positions and other vacancies such as beautician, clerk, accounting clerk, warehouse clerk, cashier and cleaner.

Most of the vacancies offer a monthly salary ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 Hong Kong dollars.

Job-seekers of different qualifications and work experience are welcome to apply. They can submit applications on the spot and may be selected for on-site interviews.

In addition, the Labour Department will conduct on-the-spot job registration.
