An expert called on Chinese enterprises to pay more attention to
fostering their brands, not just focusing on manufacturing.
Zheng Zhanwei, president of the Academy of Chinese Brands, said in Guangzhou
on February 28 that of the 15 Chinese companies making into the list of global
Top 500, only six have built their brands as renowned ones.
In the economic globalization and fierce competition, Chinese enterprises
must build their brands and apply for trademark and brand protection, and this
would be of great help to their future growth.
He pointed out Chinese enterprises should, first of all, change their
traditional way of thinking by shifting to focus to brand-building from
manufacturing.
