Singles experience a truly 'blind' date (Labour Daily) Updated: 2006-07-19 08:55
A group of 20 people eight men and 12 women were plunged into darkness in
Shanghai to experience a blind date in more ways than one.
According to the organizer of the bizarre event, no light-emitting items were
allowed into the room.
Such a situation helps people to make friends without being influenced by
appearances, said the organizer.
However, some participants said they felt unsafe in the darkness and some
used lighters to see what the others looked like.
