Woman killed by suicide attempt

A 22-year-old woman died after she was hit by a man who jumped from a building in a suicide bid in Guangzhou's Haizhu District on Monday night.

Tian and the man were immediately sent to a nearby hospital where doctors failed to revive her. But the man who wanted to kill himself was saved. He is currently recovering in a local hospital.

Tian, who was originally from Hunan Province, had been working in Guangzhou for five years.
