Farmers get chance to enjoy summer dip

A swimming pools opened recently in the village of Liuxing, Jiangsu Province.

A local farmer invested 400,000 yuan (US$49,000) in the pool, which covers an area of 0.5 hectares.

Locals used to enjoy summer swims in a river running through the village, but had to stop after it became heavily polluted.
