Three robbers hurled themselves willingly into a police car patrolling along a street in Chengdu of Sichuan Province one night last week.

The robbers had just relieved the victim of his money and mobile phone, and were fleeing the scene as the man cried for help.

Seeing a car driving along the street, the robbers waved it down and hopped in. They were all caught agape once they realized their mistake, and are now are in police custody.
