Man bikes with coats on, says not to chill out

A middle-aged man in thick cotton coats cycled in downtown Wuxi of Jiangsu Province, showing his uncommon endurance for heat.

Lu, aged 54, claimed to dislike air-conditioning and felt comfortable sleeping on six cotton mats and covered with thick cotton-wadded quilts even on the hottest days of summer. Unable to endure his uncommon habits, Lu's wife divorced him years ago.

In the last two weeks, Lu has kept cycling around the city in six cotton coats for hours. Lu said he wished his activities to educate people not to be too dependent on air-conditioning; he is planning to register for a world record for his endurance to heat.
