Hundreds of people in Mianyang, Sichuan Province, attended a funeral last week for a migrant worker who lost his life while rescuing a woman in Zhoushan, a coastal city in Zhejiang Province.

The man heard a woman's cries for help as she struggled in the sea earlier this month. He jumped into the water, managing to push her towards a rescue boat before he was himself pulled under by a wave and drowned.
