Zhang was in hospital on Monday morning after the dog's third attack left six wounds on her feet and legs. She said it was the third time since last December the dog had attacked her without reason. The last attack put her in hospital for a month.

The dog's owner was also confused by the attacks, saying that the 2-year-old mutt would go mad whenever it saw Zhang. A local animal expert suggested that Zhang must do something that offends the dog and creates its deep-seated hatred of her.
