Taiwan quake triggers tsunami alert

People flee their homes and stay outside in Xiamen, East China's Fujian Province after two major earthquakes strike southern Taiwan of China on December 26. The quakes were also felt in Hong Kong. The tsunami alert was soon lifted. [photo: xinhua]
