Hong Kong police had to intervene when a woman crashed her brother's marriage to demand repayment for a loan.

As the newlyweds were waiting to register their marriage last Thursday at Admiralty, the woman and her husband appeared, shouting: "You have money to get married, but have no money to repay the debt?"

Registry workers alerted police when a friend of the groom and the sister's husband started to push each other.

The process of registry and the marriage did not continue until police arrived and the sister and her husband stormed off in anger.
