A 72-year-old resident of Yinchuan, capital of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, has become famous as a water saving expert.

The woman, surnamed Wang, is known throughout her district because she has used only 100 tons of water in the past four years.

She said she uses water at least three times first, to wash rice, vegetables and clothing, then for mopping the floor and finally to flush and clean the toilet.
