An off-duty police officer in Macao helped a woman pursue an alleged robber on Thursday afternoon, but when he caught the suspect, the woman had already left without even saying thank you.

A police officer saw the woman chasing a man holding a green purse as he drove by. Guessing a robbery had taken place, the officer jumped out of his car and chased after the man.

The suspect dropped the purse during the pursuit. The woman picked up the purse and left without knowing the outcome, let alone expressing her gratitude.
