A Hong Kong man has been arrested for suspected drug trafficking, after a method he learned from the gang movie Protg.

As in the film, the suspect put drugs into packets the size of a chestnut and hid the packets among snacks. But the clever trick did not help him escape an old police tactic - tailing.

Protg, which opened in Hong Kong during the Lunar New Year holiday, has been criticized for elaborating on the processes of drug production, dealing and distribution, and thus inspiring imitation.
