Wives of successful entrepreneurs in Zhejiang Province say they feel pressured and lonely because of a lack of their husbands' companionship, according to a survey.

The survey, conducted by the Qianjiang Evening News and the Zhongke Productivity Center in Zhejiang among 50 wives whose husbands own property worth millions of yuan, also found that many of the wives surveyed are taking top positions in their husbands' companies besides looking after the family. The wives say they spend more than 100,000 yuan ($12,900) a year on clothes and travel. About 80 percent of them have sent or plan to send their children abroad to study management. Their main wishes are to keep their husbands healthy and to be able to accompany them frequently.
