A man in Macao extorted his lover after she ended their four-year secret affair. She had him arrested by police on a blackmail charge.

Both the man and the woman were married but entered the affair when they were neighbors. She wanted to end the affair late last year, and he agreed in February.

But shortly afterwards, the man sent her a letter, saying he would expose the affair unless she gave him 5,000 patacas ($625). When she agreed on a time and place to give him the money, police were there to arrest him.
