Japan, China, S. Korea to hold joint investment talk(Xinhua)Updated: 2007-03-19 15:57 TOKYO -- Foreign trade officials from Japan, China and South Korea will gather in Tokyo from Thursday for the first round of negotiations on a trilateral investment agreement, Japan's foreign ministry said Monday. The two-day negotiation is a result of agreement reached by the leaders of the three countries on the sidelines of the East Asia Summit in Cebu, the Philippines, in January. According to the press release, chief negotiators for the talks are Masashi Mizukami, deputy director general of the Japanese Foreign Ministry's Economic Affairs Bureau, Sun Peng, deputy director general of the Chinese Commerce Ministry's Foreign Investment Administration, and Won Sam Chan, senior coordinator for bilateral trade of the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
