After its completion, it will be the largest general hospital in Beijing, and more convenient for citizens living in the northern part of the city.

With an overall investment of 3.2 billion yuan, Peking University International Hospital is scheduled to be completed in 2008 and be put into use in 2009.

It is to have 36 medical centers and cover 49 medical fields.
