Haier opens electrical appliances exhibition hall in Nigeria

China's Haier Group and its partner PZ Cussons opened their biggest electrical appliances exhibition hall in Nigeria-HTCool World with a ceremony held in Lagos on Friday.

Covering an area of about 500 square meters, HTCool World exhibition hall on Victoria Island exhibits a series of products of Haier-Thermocool brand, including more than 10 categories developed especially for Nigerian consumers and more than 100 types of different innovation products, like side by side refrigerator which could make food to maintain freshness, fresh wind valuable air conditioner, entire high clear television for health and eye protection, and water heater with a electricity against wall which guarantee safe bath.

Meanwhile, HTCool World will exhibit U-Home series of electrical appliances products, which represent the development direction of the electrical appliances in the future.

Diao Yunfeng, managing director of Haier Group's Overseas Business Division, said Nigeria is a big market with great potential for domestic electrical appliances.

"The proposal of U-Home comes from the consideration of characteristic of information in this age and the requirements of the consumers," he said. "Through digital technology and network technology, it has realized the electrical appliances intelligent control."

Diao said he believes the fast economic growth will bring more Nigerian residents to Haier Group's products, which ensure them enjoy their lives with the one of the top brand domestic appliances in China and in the world.

Haier-Thermocool brand, as a fruit of win-win cooperation between Haier group and PZ group, will develop continually and will offer Nigerian consumers more innovative electrical appliances with a higher quality to satisfy the requirements of consumers, he said.

A group of high-level managers of Haier Group, the fourth big white home appliance manufacturer of the world, PZ Cussons group, and celebrities of business and political circle in Lagos attended the opening ceremony.
