Two killed, three injured in Henan blast

ZHENGZHOU -- Two people were killed and another three injured in a detonator blast accident Monday evening in Fanxian county of central China's Henan Province, sources with the local government said on Tuesday.

The tragedy occurred at about 7:00 pm Monday when the five people were making detonators in an underground factory in Yancunpu township of the county.

The injured have been hospitalized. The local public security bureau and work safety watchdog have started to investigate the accident.
