HONG KONG - Thirteen men had been arrested in Hong Kong for smuggling VCDs and CDs, Hong Kong Customs said Sunday.

During the operation on Saturday, the Customs officers seized HK$53 million (US$6.8 million) worth of VCDs and CDs loaded onto mainland-bound speedboats at Lau Fau Shan pier.

The 13 men, aged 16 to 44, are local residents. They are on bail pending further investigation, according to the Customs.
