CHANGCHUN -- A woman in Northeast China's Jilin Province has allegedly killed herself after knifing two teenagers, sources with the local police said Friday.

The murder happened around noontime on Thursday in Sanhebao village, Huaide Township of Gongzhuling City in Jilin. Li Yanqiu, 40, stabbed a 13-year-old boy surnamed Gong in the school, and knifed down another 11-year-old who was passing by, city police bureau spokesman said.

Both died in hospital.

Police suspect Li was on a revenge move. A few months ago, her 9-year old son was hit by the boy surnamed Gong when both were riding on bicycles. Gong's family had refused to cover some 2,000-yuan hospital bill for treating the boy's injuries.

Li's body was later found in a cornfield, and initial investigation shows she killed herself. Further investigation into the accident is underway.
