With the help of police, a drunken South Korean man, who scattered his belongings across a metro line station in Shanghai last month, returned home safely.

All of the items he was carrying, including 160,000 yuan ($21,052) in cash, several bank cards and important documents, also remained safe.

Police found the man drunk and lying in Dalian Station of Metro Line 4, babbling insanely. He kept taking money out of a suitcase and throwing it on the floor.

To guarantee the safety of the drunken man, police escorted him to a police station nearby. From the documents the man was carrying, police knew that he was a South Korean citizen working in Shanghai. Police contacted the man's family and returned him home immediately.
