17th National Congress holds 1st news conference

The 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) holds a press conference in Beijing, October 14, 2007. The congress, to be held from October 15 to 21, will decide China's new leadership and the path China will follow in the next five years or more. [Xinhua]
