As a new part of cultural creation industry, animation and cosplay game are developing rapidly in Jinan, capital of Shandong Province.

In 2006, there are more than 20 cosplay games enterprises established in Jinan and their annual revenue reached over 200 million yuan, according to the local authorities.

Jinan Cosplay Games Industry Base, located in Qilu Software Hi-tech Garden--a nation-level hi-tech development zone, now has altogether 23 animation companies including famous enterprises like Beijing Huizhongyizhi Technology Co. Ltd and Shanghai Shuimu Animation Co., Ltd. More than 1,000 staff are employed in this base.

More companies will enter the base soon, according to local authorities.

The base is also featured by its cosplay game workshop and cosplay game college. People in the workshop are required good directing skill, painting skill and other computer skills. The cosplay game college includes students aged between 15 and 35, with most of them teenagers, an unindentified staff said, and these students could choose the courses according to their own situation.

If you want to become a skilled cosplay game producer, you need to start from the very basics-painting, the staff added.
