Lunar orbiter blasts off in Xichang

The rocket revolving platform for China's first lunar orbiter, Chang'e I, is unwound in the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Southwest China's Sichuan Province, October 24, 2007, with a Long March 3A carrier rocket standing by 30 minutes before the launch. [Xinhua]
