South China tigers in reserves

Two South China tigers live in Meihuashan National Nature Reserve of southeast China's Fujian Province. The reserve was built to protect the endangered South China tiger species at Longyan city of Fujian in 1998. Only 100 of this kind of tigers remain in both reserves and zoos. [Xinhua]
