Updated: 2007-12-25 07:48 Concentrated, hard mixture of silt and sand that could hold relics such as porcelain, bronze pieces and coins from the Song Dynasty (960-1279) are cleared from three parts of Nanhai-I's wreckage to help position the open caisson, or steel box.
