Temple fairs in China during Spring Festival

People walk past a bundle of Tanghulu in Nanning, capital of South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Feb. 10, 2008. Tanghulu is a kind of traditional snack in North China in winter. It is usually made by sugar-coated haws on a stick. Nowadays Tanghulu can be also made by other kinds of fruits and vegetables including yam, apple and orange. The 2nd tourism temple fair of Nanning City opened on an ancient street called Yongzhou on Sunday. About 100,000 people attended the temple fair to taste various kinds of snacks from different places in the nation. [Xinhua]
