Overseas Chinese students and compatriots in Canada, Germany and New Zealand organized peaceful rallies over the weekend to publicize the truth about the Tibet riots and express their support for China's unity.

Despite hail and snow, at least 500 people took part in a three-hour rally in Vancouver. In Toronto, an estimated 2,000 people attended a rally where a number of speakers discussed what really happened during the Lhasa riots.
