The Nanning Global Investment Promotion Forum opened in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on April 25.

Over 400 experts from home and abroad will share experience based on the theme "Urban Agglomeration Economies and FDI" at the forum. This is the first international forum which focuses on the development of urban economic circles.

The World Top 500 Enterprises, the leading research institutions, the World Bank and other international organizations, as well as representatives from the United States, Japan and European countries will be present at the conference to share their successful experience in theory and practice, and discuss the industrial layout of urban economic circles, the regional markets, urban and rural planning, institutional innovation, investment, and the concepts behind building the industrial chain and the value chain in the circle.

Mr. Renaud Klein, senior president of Medtronic in Asian, representative of SembCorp, and Mr. Renaud Klein, vice chief representative of the United Nations Development Program in China, will give speeches at forum.

Mr.Cheng Xiangqun, mayor of Nanning, will give a speech on the theme of "Nanning Playing the Leading Role in Guangxi Beibu Bay Economic Zone." There will be picture exhibition during the forum, which will show the development of the urban economic circle.
