BEIJING- Rain will continue to fall in most parts of south China in the coming three days and temperatures will rise in most regions in the north, the China Meteorological Administration forecasted Wednesday.

Heavy rain will hit the provinces of Guizhou, Hunan, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, Yunnan, and Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and Tibet autonomous region for 24 hours to 8 a.m. Thursday, according to the forecast.

Torrential rain is forecast to sweep parts of Guangxi, Hunan and Guangdong. Thunderstorms, strong winds and hail are also expected in the areas.

The statement said north China and regions along the Yellow River and Huai River would see fine weather and rising temperatures in the following three days.
