As the fifth Chinese Culture Day approaches, an archaeological team will present a live TV broadcast from the No.1 tomb of Cao Cao's mausoleum in Anyang county, Henan province, gzdaily.dayoo.com reported Friday.
Cao's mausoleum was discovered in Xigaoxue, a village in Anyang county of Henan province, on Dec 27, 2009. And the No.2 tomb in the compound was confirmed as the tomb of Cao Cao.
Public guesses about the No.1 tomb, which has similar space as Cao's, had been circulating ever since, most asking questions about who was in the No.1 tomb. Was it Cao's son - Cao Ang - or Cao's concubine? And what else may be buried inside--gold, or Cao's artworks?
Cao was a legendary politician and general from the Three Kingdoms Period (AD 220-280), and was known for his literary works and poems during that period.
China's CCTV 10 and Henan satellite TV will broadcast the show live from 9:00 a.m on Saturday.
