10 die in bus-truck crash in NE China

DALIAN - A large truck collided head-on with a bus killing all ten people on the bus Tuesday in northeast China's Liaoning Province, said local police.

The accident happened at 5:05 a.m. at the province's coastal city Dalian. Three people died at the scene and the other seven died after treatment failed, said Gao Zhanxian, a police officer of the municipal Public Security Bureau.

The truck driver was not injured, Gao said.

Police are investigating the accident.
