Six dead in central China road accident

WUHAN - Six people died and one was injured Sunday in a road accident in central China's Hubei Province, said local authorities.

The accident happened around 7 am in Xuan'en County, of Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture of Shi'en, said a spokesman with the publicity department of the county committee of the Communist Party of China.

Police were still investigating and no further details were yet available, said the spokesman.
