This shows the importance that China has gained in the world, the Spanish-language daily said.

China's economic growth and its role as the main importer in the world market "gives China a growing participation in the investment and trading flows," it said.

China's demand and its economic and political decisions have an increasing influence on the economy and future of the world, the daily said.

China is the United States' main external creditor, which enables China to have a greater participation and influences in the decision making in the world, the newspaper said.

"China gives a new dynamic to the reconfiguration of the world power to the emerging of a bigger multi-pluralism, which is a challenge and an opportunity for the peripheral countries and their development models," it said.

China is Argentina's second-largest trade partner, behind Brazil.

In the first half of 2010, bilateral trade between Argentina and China was registered at US$5.88 billion, according to the Argentine Foreign Ministry.
