HANGZHOU - More than 105 pupils, hospitalized by bacteria infection in a primary school in east China's Zhejiang province since Thursday, have all recovered, local health authorities said Saturday.
The cause of the accident is under investigation, local authorities said. The pathogen has been confirmed as shigella dysenteriae, which the students may have caught through the food and water in the dining hall of Zhongxin primary school.
Health and education departments have ordered strengthened efforts to monitor the health condition of the pupils in Zhongxin primary school and improve sanitary management in its dining hall.
