Souvenir hunters extend Shanghai Expo's legacy
The "Sensual City", a square cross-hatched design, showcased the sights, smells, tastes, sounds and feel of France with manicured gardens with pools and fountains, paintings, perfumes, cuisine and movies. A charity auction at the pavilion on Oct 30 held in association with China Children Charity Foundation and Angel Mom Foundation sold mascots, accessories and perfumes to benefit sick children from poor families.

Designed to give visitors a taste of life in a Danish city, with cyclists, pedestrians and other integrated sustainable features, the building was a steel structure that curled to form a route that took tourists up to a level of 12 meters high. Three of the bicycles used were sold through a television charity auction last month.
