Four dead, 19 injured in bus-car crash in north China

TAIYUAN -- Four people were killed and 19 injured Wednesday after a bus collided with a car on a highway in north China's Shanxi Province, local police said.

The accident occurred at about 1:20 p.m. on a highway in Lishi District, Lvliang City that links Lvliang with Taiyuan, capital of Shanxi. Two died at the spot and two died later en route to hospital.

All the injured, including three critically, have been rushed to hospital.

Police in Lishi District are investigating the cause of the accident.
