Shanghai World Expo to begin one year countdown

An artist's rendition of the China pavilion of Shanghai World Expo which is now under construction in the Shanghai Expo Garden. The pavilion is expected to be completed by the end of this year, together with other major venues in the garden. Called the Oriental Crown, the main structure of the China pavilion stands 63 meters tall. It uses traditional and wooden brackets fixed layer upon layer between the top of a column and crossbeam.[CFP]
