An Expo-themed exhibition was held recently at Shanghai Exhibition Center to test the city's ability to host the Expo 2010.
The exhibition attracted more than 23,000 visitors in three days.
Covering a total area of 1,200 square meters, the exhibition was equipped with all necessary facilities to receive all types of visitors, including the disabled.
It provided passages for groups, individual visitors and VIPs. There were also security-check gates, volunteer service stations and large information screens.
Many visitors wrote in the visitors’ remarks book their good wishes for the success of the Expo 2010.
Expo 2010 is expected to attract 70 million visitors with a peak daily attendance of about 800,000 people. To cope with the huge crowd, the Expo site will set up as many as 54 visitor service stations, 22 reservation stations, 176 reservation machines, 5 medical stations, 2 financial outlets, 25 ATM machines, 8 postal service outlets, and 80 information stands. There will also be receptions, temporary storages, renting services, Lost & Founds, caring stations for lost children, temporary nurseries, services for the disabled, complaints handling divisions and survey services.
