The Republic of Macedonia government and the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination inked the European country's participation deal in Expo 2010 on Monday.

Huang Jianzhi, deputy director-general of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, and Dr Metodij Hadzi-Vaskov, Republic of Macedonia's deputy minister of economy and commissioner general, signed the contract on behalf of the two parties.
Macedonia's deputy minister of foreign affairs Zoran Petrov witnessed the signing.
Macedonia's deal means that all European countries that confirmed they would take part in Expo 2010 have signed the participation contract.
Macedonia confirmed participation on February 9, 2007 and has handed its theme definition titled "Urban Continuity". It will stage its exhibition in the Joint-European Pavilion.
